With eposal.com after you have written the proposal all you need to do is click and an e-mail linking to your proposal will be sent to your prospect. No attachments, so you don't have to worry about formatting issues, or prospects not being able to read your document.

Speed of Delivery

With eposal.com you don't have to worry about balancing your time to get everything to the courier, you can focus on what is important, writing a great proposal. When it is time to deliver, you just click send. Fast, and Easy!

Presentation
Be the Best! Traditional proposals limit you to what you can write and chart. Although, content is king your eposal has a feature that will allow you to "show and tell" in the form of a virtual tour of your facilities, or a demonstration of your software online, all linked to your proposal a simple click, your prospect can now see what you offer.

Always Ready
Opportunity at a moments notice! Traveling and meet someone interested in receiving a proposal on your product/service. Traditionally you would have to have the file on your laptop, access to an intranet, or lose an opportunity to present your company. With ePosal.com you can access a proposal from anywhere you have Internet access. Quickly access, customize, and send your eposal. Location is not a problem.

Cost Savings
Bottom line! The 'old way' of proposal writing will have you have printing, copying, binding, covers, delivery costs, personnel time, to create a print and bound proposal. ePosal.com saves you money by eliminating the process and the paper, adding money to your bottom line.

Increase Productivity
Make your sales call count! ePosal.com will let you know exactly when your information was reviewed and what was viewed. Eliminate the "have you looked...." to "I see you had a chance to review...." 2. Traditionally, the client's RFP requests copies of the proposal, would it be appropriate to send them an electronic proposal? (How would I get a client to accept an electronic proposal?)

We suggest you always ask the client's permission to send any type of electronic transmission. If your prospect requests a proposal, simply inquire if it can be in an electronic format, explaining the benefits of them forwarding it to other associates, and speed of delivery. If your client is strictly analog by nature ... be prepared for: " I'd rather have a fax/print copies."

3. What is the trend for electronic proposal submissions?

The trend to electronic processing for government, especially in North America and the UK is growing. "A virtual door to the Government of Canada -- The Canada Site is being revamped to ... support the increase in on-line services. It will serve as a one-stop access point for all Government of Canada information and services, supporting all aspects of on-line service delivery, from requesting to receiving. Canadian Business connected to the Internet in 1999 is 52.8 % in the Private Sector and 94.4% in the Public Sector.

USA - "The U.S. government has stepped up its efforts to find new ways to utilize e-commerce solutions to purchase goods and services for its agencies and offices around the globe."

UK - The goal of the UK government is to have "100% of procurement by civil central government is tendered electronically by 2002."

Soon everyone will be sending his or her proposals via an electronic method.

4. On a paper proposal a client can make notes and comments. How can they do that with an eposal?

Every ePosal page has an area for the client to enter comments and margin notes. The client will have the option to select secure mode requesting that the comments be invisible to the salesperson, or the client can choose to open the comments/notes allowing you the opportunity to respond.

5. Can a client print a proposal?

Yes, each page has a printer icon in the lower right corner. Viewer simply clicks the icon and the pages switches to "Printer Friendly version", sans the navigation and header bars.

6. Does viewing subject my client to ads or pop-up windows?

Never, the ASP version does contain links to eposal.com, but always in a new browser window. Your client will never be linked away from your presentation.

7. Where do I get my client's logo for my proposal?

You can copy a logo from the client's own website, simply by right clicking your mouse on the logo followed by clicking save as. You may have to resample the graphic to fit. We do suggest that logos be used only on client's proposal and not on a page of references. You should consider asking permission before you take your client's logo from the website as most are copyrighted.

8. Is my proposal secure and private?

Your database resides on a firewall-protected server. Information is only accessible by you and your client. Data tables are only viewable by two bonded eposal programmers. Database passwords are changed 3 times per day. Security and privacy are of our utmost concern. For those requiring ultra high-level security, we suggest the Enterprise client server.

9. How does multiple send work?

Create one proposal and select multiple recipients from your client profile list. Each proposal is assigned a unique URL . To update a multiple sent ePosal, make a change on one, and all are updated automatically.
Top
10. Will the client have the opportunity to opt-out of sending a message to the sender re: having read the proposal online?

No, in fact the client doesn't send a message. This is simply an expansion of web statistics or log files.
Top
11. How do you track whether the message is opened or not? Is it fool proof?

You can't fool a database. If the page is delivered from the server, an entry is made to the database once the file is delivered in its entirety. There is the unlikely possibility that a user can request a file have it delivered to their computer, and at the same time suffer a power failure.

15. What are some other uses for an eposal?

New products
Spread the word; introduce your clients to the possibilities of using your new product with a live demonstration, all through eposal.com. Use the multiple send features to click and send an online brochure describing, and demonstrating your new product to all your clients. No printing or publishing costs to worry about. Know whose 'checked out' your new product, allowing you to follow up promptly. Focus your time on the client, not on creating a box full of brochures to mail out.

Use the technology to provide excellent customer service.
